Kentucky Electrician Continuing Education Requirements: In Kentucky, licensed Electricians (EE), Master Electricians (ME), and Electrical Contractors (CE) are required to complete 6 hours of continuing education each year, totaling 12 hours per two-year (biennial) renewal cycle.

Continuing education courses for master electricians (ME), electric electricians (EE), and electrical inspectors must cover industry codes, job safety, or topics directly related to the electrical trade. In contrast, approved coursework for electrical contractors must focus on business and job safety.
