Certified Electrical Contractor (Statewide)	14 total hours required every two-year license period. A minimum of 7 hours must be on the National Electrical Code (NEC). All courses must be approved by the Alabama Board of Electrical Contractors (AECB). CE is not required for the first renewal period after initial licensure.
