South Dakota 2023 NEC Code Updates (Part 1)

This 8-hour comprehensive online course provides a detailed exploration of the foundational changes and safety enhancements introduced in the 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC). The curriculum begins with critical updates to Article 100 definitions and General Requirements, covering essential topics such as equipment examination, listing standards, and the proper identification of disconnecting means. A major focus is placed on modern safety protocols referenced from NFPA 70E, including job safety planning, hearing protection requirements, and the specific processes required for establishing and verifying an electrically safe work condition.
